Hun Many Encourages Cambodian Paralympic Athletes at Start of Asian Para Games

CHINA: The Cambodian Paralympic is competing in the 4th Asian Para Games as of this morning, October 19, Hangzhou, China. Minister of Civil Service, Hun Many, posted a message congratulating and encouraging the athletes this morning. "On behalf of myself and my colleagues of the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia, I wish all athletes success on the mission to represent the Kingdom of Cambodia,” he wrote.

Hun Many also thanked all the coaches, teams and athletes for their efforts, including coordinating coaching and training efforts in order to achieve good results.

"Regardless of the outcome of the competition, please remember that the Cambodian people are with you and support you. Together you show the language of the Cambodian heart and encourage the spirit of #BeyondTheGames,” he wrote, reiterating the slogan used at the SEA Games earlier this year.

Cambodia has sent delegates and athletes with disabilities to compete in six sports, including two teams for men's volleyball team and women's wheelchair basketball.
